TEACHING AND LEARNING FRENCH LANGUAGE IN GHANA THROUGH DIGITAL RESOURCES: PROSPECTS AND CHALLENGES

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to support the teaching and learning of foreign languages, particularly French, has been the centre of concern for researchers for several years. Education, especially second language teaching, must adopt new technologies and renew itself to be compatible with globalization within the West African sub region. To this end, it has become necessary to identify technologies that will efficiently support the integration of ICT to enhance the teaching and learning of French in Ghana. This study discusses the prospects and challenges associated with the integration of digital technologies in the teaching and learning of French as well as some strategies and techniques required for more successful integration.Downloads
