International treaties are most frequent means of creating international rules or standards that States and other actors of international community are supposed to abide by. Their importance has been highly increased in the context of modern international law. The enforcement quality of international law was often questioned which has been settled by the increasing treaty making process. Further the universality of human rights through the international treaties can be looked as an achievement. The international law believes that nothing can be done without or against the will of a sovereign State.
